This former British colony is home to one of the  ighest one-drop waterfalls in the world: the 250 meters high Kaieteur fall

DAY PROGRAM:

Day 1
In the early morning we depart from Paramaribo to Nickerie.
We will arrive around 09.30 at South Drain, where we will take the ferry to Guyana – Springlands. Via Springlands we will travel to Georgetown, the capital of Guyana.
At about 4-5 o' clock in the in the afternoon we arrive at our hotel where we will check in.

Day 2
After breakfast we are picked up for transfer to the local airport and from there on we will fly to the Kaieteur Falls.
We will stay around for 3 hours and enjoy the beautiful waterfall and its fascinating surroundings. Around 5 o' clock in the afternoon we will return to the hotel. In the evening we will have dinner in a cozy restaurant.

Day 3
After breakfast we leave to Parika where we can pay a visit:
-1. To the old Dutch settlement.
-2. and also see many places with Dutch names.

Later in the day we return to the capital and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Georgetown by night.

Day 4
Early in the morning we will be heading Back to Springlands where the ferry will take us to Nieuw Nickerie. At approxamatly six o' clock in the afternoon we will arrive in Paramaribo.
