Highlights: Visit to the nature reserve Bigi Pang habitat of the Red Ibis and the many bird species that are preserved and protected. A real treat for bird lovers.

DAY PROGRAM

Day 1:
At 08.00 hrs we drive from Paramaribo to Nickerie. In Coronie and Wageningen  stops  are made. In Henar we visit the rice plantations. Around 14.00 hrs we arrive in Nickerie where we will have lunch. In the afternoon a visit to the largest and most modern rice farm in Nickerie.We overnight in Nickerie. The evening can be used to visit one of the casinos, the disco or just take a break on the terrace.

Day 2:
In the morning we visit the market and a banana plantation. Then we leave for Bigi Pan.
In the afternoon we return to Nickerie to visit the beach (protection against the high waves of the Atlantic). In the afternoon we return to Paramaribo.
