DAYPROGRAM
Day 1:
10.00 Departure from Paramaribo. Arrival around 11.30. After unloading the luggage, we move into one of the houses near the airport, after that a brief introduction to the area, followed by a walk of approx. two hours on Kwatta Passi. The chance of seeing animals on this ride is very large. After this walk you can cool off in the water or just relax.
Day 2;
After breakfast we go for a short walk to the nut jungle (Brazilian walnut) Then we sail into the Tukunari rapids in the South River where you can fish and swim. In the afternoon we return to base camp.
Day 3:
On this day we make an educational trip through the pristine rain forest to a place with a fantastic view of the forerunner of the Eilerts de Haan Mountains.
At about 500 meters altitude you enjoy a wonderful view of the mountain Eilerts de Haan. In the afternoon we sail to a beautiful sandy beach to make our camp for the night. In the evening we make a night cruise to spot animals like caimans, frogs, snakes, etc.)
Day 4:
A cruise on the south river with many rapids and rocks is an absolute must for the adventurer and nature lover. After breakfast we sail back to base camp where we spend the afternoon fishing or swimming in the refreshing water.
Day 5:
After breakfast we get ready for the return flight to Paramaribo over Tafelberg. |
