A tour through various savannah’s, marshes and creeks to Powakka, Cabenda Village, Kwakoegron and Republic. We also visit the various indigenous communities. We drive on unpaved roads through the tropical rainforest where you can get acquainted with the secrets of nature.

DAY PROGRAM
Day 1:
At 08.00 we leave Paramaribo via the Kennedy Highway, Domburg and Paranam to drive to the Powakka Savannah through creeks, woods and soft sand. To pass through the savannah, skill and knowledge of the area is an absolute requirement. After a short break we continue our journey through pineapple fields, which the Indians have built, to the pottery village Cabenda. Then we go through the old railway (in Berlijn behind Bosbivak savannah) to Republic for the night. In the afternoon you can swim or canoe in Blakawatra Creek. In the evening we are looking for crocodiles, snakes and frogs.
Day 2:
In the morning we head towards Berlin , a former plantation behind Zanderij. Through jungle roads and creeks we go, we visit the old railway in the Berlijn savanne. Through savanna we drive to Kwakoegron at the river Saramacca. This breathtaking tour goes through rugged savannah area, creeks, savannabush and through a large part of the old railway , which give you the impression that you are in a train. In the afternoon we return through Pikin Saron, a native village, to Paramaribo.

Nocturnal excursions in search of animals like crocodiles, frogs, snakes, etc. make it an exciting journey. Tent building at Republic, a must for the adventurer.
